Morpheus8 RF Microneedling

What Is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin-renewal treatment that uses tiny, sterile needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin’s surface. These micro-injuries gently stimulate your body’s natural healing processes — including increased production of collagen and elastin — which can improve texture, tone, firmness, and overall radiance.

At Rose MedSpa, microneedling is customized to your unique skin goals, whether you’re addressing fine lines, acne scars, enlarged pores, or uneven texture. The result is healthier, more vibrant skin with a fresh, refined appearance.

How Does Microneedling Work?

During a microneedling session, a skilled clinician glides a specialized device with tiny needles across the treatment area. These micro-injuries trigger the skin’s repair response, which:

  • Encourages collagen and elastin production

  • Smooths fine lines and texture

  • Enhances skin firmness and resilience

While the micro-channels are tiny and controlled, they promote deeper product absorption and a renewed skin layer that looks smoother, brighter, and more unified.

What Can Microneedling Help With?

Microneedling may help improve:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles

  • Acne scars and surgical scars

  • Rough or uneven texture

  • Enlarged pores

  • Dull or fatigued skin

  • Stretch marks (in appropriate areas)

By encouraging your skin to regenerate from within, microneedling supports more balanced tone and improved surface quality.

What Happens During the Treatment?

Your session begins with a gentle cleanse and application of a topical numbing cream for comfort. Once you’re relaxed, a precision microneedling device is moved carefully over the skin. Most treatments take 30–45 minutes, depending on area size.

Many clients describe the sensation as a light pressure or gentle tickling — tolerable and well managed with numbing. Afterward, calming serums may be applied to support recovery and soothe the skin.

Is Microneedling Painful?

Because topical numbing is applied before the treatment begins, most clients experience minimal discomfort. The sensation is typically described as mild pressure or light rolling. Our priority is your comfort, and adjustments are made throughout the session as needed.

Are There Side Effects?

After microneedling, you may experience:

  • Mild warmth or redness (similar to a light sunburn)

  • Sensitivity for 24–48 hours

  • Tightness or slight flaking as healing begins

These responses are normal and signal the skin’s renewal process. Most side effects diminish within a day or two, and your clinician will recommend aftercare products to soothe and support healing.

What Should I Do Before My Appointment?

To prepare your skin:

  • Avoid waxing, strong chemical peels, and exfoliants for several days before your session

  • Avoid extended sun exposure and tanning products

  • Discontinue retinoids or prescription exfoliants as advised by your clinician

These steps help ensure your treatment is safe and optimized for results.

What Should I Do After Treatment?

Recovery is typically gentle. To support healing:

  • Avoid sun exposure and use SPF daily

  • Skip heavy makeup and harsh exfoliants for 24–48 hours

  • Apply any recommended calming serums or moisturizers

Following aftercare instructions helps your skin settle beautifully and maximizes the benefits of treatment.

When Will I See Results?

Initial improvements — such as smoother texture and a brighter tone — may be noticeable within a few days. As collagen remodeling continues over the following weeks, deeper changes in texture, firmness, and clarity become more visible.

For many clients, a series of treatments spaced several weeks apart yields the most refined and lasting results.
